Jesus is Alive!!

We at New Identity Ministries Church wish you a joyous and happy resurrection Sunday!

Jesus is Alive!!! Hallelujah! The grave has been opened wide! Wow! Imagine being there at that time. Looking into the empty tomb. Seeing all the depression and oppression turning to great joy and anticipation!! Could it really be? Our Savior rose from the dead?

When Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father, it was a statement! What was that statement? The work was finished! All our sins — past, present, and future — were put neatly away — thrown into the sea of forgetfulness — and He has declared us righteous in His sight!

What a glorious Savior we have! The Lamb that was slain before the foundations of the world! The Lion of the Tribe of Judah! The soon and coming King!

What an exciting time we’re living in today! Because of Jesus — because of His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension; because Jesus was the final sacrificial Lamb; because the blood of Jesus speaks a better Word than the blood of Able; we have much to be thankful for! Much to look forward to!!

Eph 1:3-14 opens up our eyes to much more of what our Lord and Savior’s finished work accomplished for us! We would encourage you to read the entire section. For now, let’s skim through it:

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has

  • blessed us with every spiritual blessing,
  • chosen us,
  • made us holy and blameless in His sight,
  • adopted as children, calling us sons and daughters,
  • accepted us in the Beloved,
  • redeemed us through His blood,
  • forgiven us of all sin (oh, the riches of God’s grace!),
  • filled us with such amazing hope knowing that
    • in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth;
  • even in him, in whom we have received an inheritance,
  • sealed us with the Holy Spirit of promise

to the praise of His glory!

Hallelujah! Thank You, Lord!!!!

Now, today, we look forward to hearing the last trumpet when those who are dead will be caught up to meet Him in the clouds, and those of us who are still alive will be changed in the twinkling of an eye (1 Thess. 4:16-17)! Wow!

And all of this He did for you and for me! Why? So that we can be with Him forever! Why? Because you are deeply loved by Him!!!
