New Creation – New Creature – New Man

2 Cor. 5:17 is a powerful scripture that tells us what happens when we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior! “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” The moment you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, believing in your heart that He is alive — risen from the dead — everything changes (Romans 10:9-10)! Really? Yes! A total and complete change occurs in your spirit! God took out your old sin nature and put in His nature! Wow! That’s awesome! Thank You Jesus!

This is so valuable and important. If you have not yet asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, we invite you to click on this link and pray the prayer on the back of it:

What Happens…

Once Jesus is our Lord and our Savior, the requirement in John 3:3 is complete! What’s that requirement? In John 3:3 Jesus tells us that we must be born from above. That happens the moment we ask Jesus to save us! An instant change occurs! We go from belonging to the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of His dear Son! Once this transformation has happened then this new nature will be reflected in our thoughts and actions to the degree that we renew our minds in the Word (Romans 12:2)! We will be transformed from a tadpole to a frog; a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly! Think of the awesome transformation they go through! This is what happened in your new nature! From the old sinful nature to God’s nature!

Here are some more scriptures that will hopefully convince you that you did receive a brand new spirit! You became a new creation, a new creature, a new man. And that change happened instantly! In the twinkling of an eye!
