Righteousness

We are the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Cor. 5:21). It’s a free gift and is something we receive by faith in Christ’s finished work. (Rom. 4:5.)

God has thousands of promises for His children. They are found in His Mirror — the Bible — the Word of God! We encourage you to search out His Word to see what they are. Here are a few from: Col 2:10; Rom 8:2; Eph 1:4; 1 Cor 2:16; Phil 2:5; 1 John 4:4, Acts 1:8, Eph 4:24, Phil 4:19; 1 Peter 2:9, 2 Eph 2:10, 2 Cor. 4:4, James 1:22, 25, Rom 8:17, 37, Rev 12:11
