Righteousness by Faith – 3
Romans 5:19 “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.”
By one man’s obedience, we were made Righteous at the Cross! These scriptures should provide the ultimate argument for righteousness by faith to everyone who believes the Scriptures to be inspired by God. Paul repeatedly said that believers are made righteous through faith in Christ, independently of their actions, in the same way that all were made sinners, not through their individual sins, but through Adam’s one sin.
Good fruit is automatically produced effortlessly when we believe right! When we believe that because of Jesus’ obedience we were made righteous, we are believing right! And as we believe right we start living right! It’s a fruit of right believing!!
FOCUS ON THIS: I’m Righteous by faith!” Believe this and health, provision, peace of mind and confidence will flow. Remember: Grace is about supply; Law is about demand!
Rom. 3:21-24 Through faith in Jesus, we can receive the very righteousness of God as a gift (2 Corinthians 5:21). God’s righteousness is infinitely better in quality and quantity than man’s puny righteousness (Isaiah 64:6). People can never be justified in the sight of God based on a righteousness that comes from their own acts of holiness. They must have God’s righteousness, and that only comes through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. Paul said in Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.” This is “the righteousness of God” that Paul was referring to here.
Hallelujah! We are PERMANENTLY RIGHTEOUS! And our righteousness comes by faith! This is such good news!
Romans 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
DECLARE: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ by faith!” Watch blessings start to flow naturally! Effortlessly!
Focus on righteousness! Faith Righteousness! We’re blessed of the Lord because of what Jesus did for us!
Isaiah 54:13-14 (NKJV) “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear;
And from terror, for it shall not come near you.”
DECLARE: I’m the righteousness of God in Christ!” Believe! You’re righteous by faith! Justified without any cause in us, freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ!” Declare and confess this throughout the day! Whenever you feel you’re missing it! Declare and confess I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!
Hebrews 4:14 (NKJV) “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.”
Jesus loves it when He hears us confess “I’m the Righteousness of God in Christ!” When we confess that, we are not believing in vain! It’s what He died for to give us! Right standing with our Father! To bring us back into relationship with Him! Identify with Jesus and His finished work! Believe and receive! Declare and confess “I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ.”
2 Corinthians 3:4-6, 9 (NKJV) “And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the New Covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. …For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of Righteousness exceeds much more in glory.”
The Ministry of Righteousness… Wow! If you have a teaching gift, this is a wonderful place to minister from! It will set people free from the religious teaching they received which leads to legalism and eventually death! Ministering on righteousness is what will lead many to life and that much more abundantly!
